Our attorneys have represented municipalities for decades and have represented over a dozen municipalities in 2018 alone. We offer these services based upon the degree of involvement desired by the municipality. Most of our municipal experience consists of serving as general counsel to Towns and Villages; however, we have also spent a great deal of time guiding towns through the Article 10 process, which is New York State’s process of siting major energy generation facilities. In our area of the state, this process has generally involved wind turbine projects.
